Sunday Bible Class: Reading the Bible for All It’s Worth
It is important that we read the Bible and read it well. But just knowing that we are supposed to read it doesn’t give us a lot of motivation to do so. Rather than reading it just to check a box, we should read the Bible expecting to have our lives changed by it. Then, reading the Bible will be a delight instead of a chore. Whether you’re a new Christian or have been a Christian for years, this class will help us read the Bible with understanding and with the expectation of being transformed by what it has to say. The class is intended to complement our 2025 Bible reading plan, but it will reinforce your Bible reading and study whether or not you are following that specific plan. Sing to the LORD: Great Hymns of the Christian Faith
Wednesdays @ 7pm in March, April, and May 2025
Singing has been cherished by God’s people in every age. Moses, Deborah, David, Ezra, and all the other men and women of God throughout the ages sang praises to God. We stand in a long legacy of singing, but sometimes it becomes so routine that we forget what it’s all about. What’s the big deal about singing anyway? Come have your love for singing ignited or rekindled as we study the importance of singing in our worship and cultivate a culture of singing in our church and in our homes. Join us on Wednesdays for this class on great hymns of the Christian faith that praise God and encourage us.
