Old Testament Survey:
The Story of God’s People Before Christ
God is the hero of the Bible! That means that the Old Testament is not just a collection of stories about great men and women of the past. The Old Testament is nothing less than God’s revelation of himself to us. It is in the pages of the Old Testament that we first learn who God is, what he is like, and what he is doing in the world. In this class we will make a fast-paced survey of the Old Testament, giving attention to how all the major pieces of the Old Testament fit together into one, unified story about what God is doing through his people before Christ—a story that spills over into the New Testament and a story that even reaches to your life today. We hope you’ll join us on Sundays at 10 am for this survey of the Old Testament. In this class we will cover the following lessons:

The Revelation to John:
The Lamb Has Overcome!
We hope you’ll join us each Wednesday for our current mid-week Bible study on the book of Revelation. The Revelation to John is unlike any other letter in the New Testament. Written in the apocalyptic genre, it features lots of symbols, Old Testament allusions, and repetitive sequences. These literary features, combined with the gaping cultural and historical chasm between the original readers and us today, make the book a challenging one to interpret. So, while we won’t solve all the age-old interpretive questions and we won’t unravel all the intriguing passages in this treasured book of Scripture, we will be encouraged by this message of hope and this admonition to faithful endurance, because the Lamb has overcome!
