How We Got the Bible
The story of how we got the Bible is a story of adventure and faith, of devotion and toil, and of great personal cost and sacrifice. It’s both a story about human history and, more importantly, about divine revelation. It’s a story that is rooted in time, but touches eternity. Come have your faith bolstered and your appreciation for God’s Word deepened as we study the amazing story of how God’s words have been faithfully recorded and passed down generation to generation, right down to the present day. In this class, we will cover the following lessons:

The Revelation to John:
The Lamb Has Overcome!
We hope you’ll join us each Wednesday for our current mid-week Bible study on the book of Revelation. The Revelation to John is unlike any other letter in the New Testament. Written in the apocalyptic genre, it features lots of symbols, Old Testament allusions, and repetitive sequences. These literary features, combined with the gaping cultural and historical chasm between the original readers and us today, make the book a challenging one to interpret. So, while we won’t solve all the age-old interpretive questions and we won’t unravel all the intriguing passages in this treasured book of Scripture, we will be encouraged by this message of hope and this admonition to faithful endurance, because the Lamb has overcome!
